New Rules and Regulations have been made to increase rider safety.

It will be compulsory across all Categories partnered with the FIM MotoGP Championship for Riders vest's to be fitted with an airbag system. These must be worn by every rider in every session, Except wildcard entries and Replacement Riders.

But after a Replacement Rider has had 2 weekends they must put that rule into effect.

The Airbag should cover at least the shoulders and collarbone. Full or central back protection is optional, However if a manufacture chooses to have back protection it must cover the whole spine. Each Airbag system must go through a series of tests to see if it passes the regulations.
