Bend Motorsport Park Hosts First Event

The Bend Motorsport park has hosted it's first event being the opening day of Revolve24 cycling event at the Tailem Bend venue.
The two day cycling event started on Saturday morning. The first competition on the new circuit the South Australian Penny Farthing Championship.
A host of other cycling events happened throughout that day, with the beginning of a 24 hour Race ending Sunday Evening.
It provided the first chance for the public to view the new complex, which is nearing completion.
The Laying of the tarmac is complete same to the operational Pit Facility.
Doused with rain during the day, The brand new track surface proved that the surface dry's quick as a wind blew down the front straight.
Some Amenities are still to be completed including Toilet blocks and showers, While the carpark and Paddock hardstand area still to have tarmac laid.
The Bend will host it's first motorsport event in April with the opening of the Shannons Nationals, with The Australian GT series to use the longest layout the 7.7 KM layout, Before the Virgin Australia Championship will visit in August.
