Mostert Takes Class 2 Win In Asian Le Mans

Chaz Mostert has taken a class 2 victory in the Asian Le Mans Series at Buriram.

While Tasmanian Josh Burdon Took The LMP3 class victory.


Chaz and his Finnish co-driver Jesse Krohn managed to pare back a deficit to Tianshi Racing Team Audi entry which at one stage had blown out to 2:30s.


The GT class win for FIST Team AAI Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 is the second for Chaz Mostert, Krohn and Chinese Taipei's Jun San Chen and puts them back in a clear championship lead.


The Tickford Racing Driver cannot, However, finish the season in Sepang due to it clashing with the Bathurst 12 Hour.


The Tianshi car finished second in class and ninth overall, Two positions and Two laps behind Mostert's car.


Fist Team AAI's Ferrari also led the class but ultimately laboured to 11th overall, Another 25 laps down on the Tianshi car due to hit from an LMP3 car.


Burdon, Louis Prette, and Neric Wei won the LMP3 class and finished 5th overall in the KCMG Car.


The Former qualified on pole and set a new lap record those three also notched up it's second class win of the season.


Overall and LMP2 victory went to the #7 Jackie Chan DC Racing X Jota Entry.
